Bollywood Wedding Dances

Level: For Beginners

This dance class is for those people who want to do classical and semi-classical choreographies. This would include Bollywood songs with classical, semi-classical and Bollywood choreographies.

It is perfect for weddings, sangeet, specific functions, or simply for learning dance in a fun manner. 

Number of classes: 1

Duration : 80 minutes

The class can also be tailor made for specific Choreographies for occasions. The price would depend on the number of people involved and the hours needed. 

Timings: You can message me for individual requirements and we can schedule classes after mutual agreement of days and timings.

About Me:

I have learned classical Indian dance in India for 13 years (Kalashram under Pt. Birju Maharaj), then 3 years of western (Hip-hop, and contemporary in Ukraine), and currently with a performing group (Classical and Bollywood) since August 2022 in Germany.

I have performed in numerous performances since the age of 3 in school, dance competitions, and performances. I was also a part of the prestigious CWG 2010 held in Delhi, India. What I felt enthusiastic about was teaching girls and boys of age 10 to 12 years old for about 6–8 months in India. I have done several choreographies in 2010 - 2012.

I enjoy every bit of dancing and I want to spread that enjoyment and happiness. I intend to do that by making the classes fun and letting them give in their input. Classical dance can get quite technical at times but I want to include a small portion of love and fun to it.

Class curriculum

What will you learn:

The class would contain a 15-minute basic workout before starting. The songs that i shall teach will be:

2. apsara aali (marathi song)

3. taal se taal mila

4. ore piya

5. Rang de basanti

6. dum dum mast hai

7. dhaakad

8. bala naacho to dekhi (bengali song)

9. dholna (rajasthani song)

10. crazy kiya re

11. Pranavalya (telugu song)
